#Reclaimis… 2015 Video and Photo Campaign Page

People use nutrients, energy, and water resources every day. However, many of these resources are becoming scarce. The Reclaim social media team developed a video campaign in 2015 to address this issue. Here is our campaign video:

Submissions were open beginning on February 23rd, 2015 through April 15th, 2015. The winners were announced on Earth Day, April 22nd, 2015. Of the 4 video finalists, three each received a $100 prize and the first place winner received $500. The top photo winner received $50.

 Video Submissions: The deadline for entry was April 15th 2015 11:59:59 pm E.T. Videos were judged based on the following criteria: communication of ideas around Reclaim (illustrate reclaiming from one or all: water, energy, or nutrients) (25%); number of likes on Facebook (25%); creativity and originality (20%); entertainment value (20%); and inclusion or mention of Reclaim (e.g. #Reclaimis…,Reclaiming, Reclaim) (10%).

Photo Submissions: Deadline for entry was April 15th 2015 11:59:59 pm E.T. Photos were judged based on the following criteria: voting by visitors to the Reclaim Organization Facebook Page (50%) and communication of ideas around Reclaim (50%).

Reclaim is a global network of researchers and practitioners dedicated  to understanding and developing appropriate solutions (geographically and culturally) at the nutrient, water, and energy nexus.  Our mission is to promote innovative, culturally-relevant resource recovery solutions by communicating research through social media and cultivating interdisciplinary collaboration and discussions.
